Repairs for Carroll Concertinas
If you are having a problem with your instrument, please know that we fully stand behind our instruments and will work with you to get any issues you are experiencing resolved. Most problems that can arise are the result of the instrument adjusting to changes in temperature and humidity. These problems are almost always easily correctable by the owner of the instrument with a little bit of instruction. We have had great success using video instruction to facilitate this process and so have created a series of videos that address the most common problems. So first check out the videos below and then give us a call or send an email if you need additional help.
Our newest videos are located on YouTube under the channel name, CarrollConcertinas. You can reach them at the following link: Carroll Concertinas Repair Videos

The following two videos (not on YouTube) demonstrate various ways to correct a sticking button (i.e. note continues to sound after button is released)
Repairs for other Models
Due to the large amount of work involved in creating each instrument and our current waiting period, we only repair and tune Carroll Concertinas. However, if you are in need of repair services for another make of instrument, we recommend you contact Greg Jowaisas. Greg has experience in tuning, pad and valve replacement, concertina case building, bellows work (patching and replacing) and in making general overall improvements to the speed and tone of instruments. Greg can be reached at gjowaisas@fioptics.com
